I Love sea food. I grew up on it. I remember my babysitter use to always buy fresh live crab and bring it home to boil.It was seriously funny watching her with the tongs grab the crabs as they try to scurry away and pinch. But it was the best crab I’ve ever tasted! I admit, I felt bad for the poor creatures but God made them delicious! Crab Rangoon especially. Every time we go out for Chinese I usually dive in at the sushi bar and seafood. Add lo mien, soy sauce and it’s so good!
Since I am not eating so much beef anymore; In fact, I haven’t ate a burger,made hamburger helper or spaghetti since last year.After seeing a video on YouTube I simply haven’t felt the same about beef. My husband on the other hand can care less really. If it’s there he’s eating it and wants it. So,on our last shopping trip he asked for it and of course I was nodding in disapproval, but I eventually caved and bought it for him.We had a box of hamburger helper waiting at home that needing this key ingredient so I figured he could eat it and I bought myself shrimp instead.
I found this recipe on Pinterest.I only added a touch of adobo to the mix.
I used small shrimp that was precooked,tail off,peeled,and deveined. Saved me time. 😉
I added the ingredients to my shrimp. 1/4 c olive oil,2 T honey,1/4 tsp pepper and red flakes,I used garlic powder(1tsp),1/2 tsp salt and a drizzle of lime and adobo.I used liquid lime juice instead if an actual lime.So it wasn’t “zesty” but still tasty.
