Witch’s broomstick bread

Do you like Carrabbas? How about their bread dip?

Well then, have a bite of this!!!

2 tsp active dry yeast

1-1/2 cups warm water

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tsp each sugar & salt

4 to 4-1/2 cups all purpose flour

2tbsp butter (melted)

1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan

1/4 tsp garlic powder and dried oregano

1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1 jar of meat less spaghetti sauce (for a dip)

**Dissolve yeast in warm water.Add Olive oil,sugar and salt, then 2 1/2 cups of flour.

Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form dough. (Don’t worry, it will be sticky)

Turn onto a clean floured counter and knead the dough for about 6 mins.

Place in a greased bowl,turning it so it becomes greased. Cover and let sit for 1 hr to rise.

Then place back on floured surface and remove a third of dough;cover and out to side.

Roll remaining into a 10inch circle. Grease a baking sheet.

Brush 1 tbsp of butter over dough. Sprinkle with cheeses,garlic powder,oregano and pepper flakes.

Fold over itself and repeat.

Cut dough into 1/2 inch wide strips to within 1/2 inch fold;twist and curl strips into a brush.

Shape remaining dough into a 12 in rope.Twist dough and place as a handle. Brush remaining butter. Sprinkle cheese and spices.

Bake @ 350 for 30-35 mins. With with the warm spaghetti sauce.
